Golf at Tucson Country Club

With no compromise to development or urban sprawl, our tradition of pure golf is a tradition that dates to 1947.

When course architect William Bell first singled out this magnificent property - this rich lowland that the Navajo and Yavapi once farmed, and magically transformed it into a golf course like no other. The 18-hole course (7000+ yards) is tree-lined, in a Midwestern style of design. It is the best walking course in Tucson, with nature's abundant creatures surviving and thriving in this area. Tucson Country Club provides a tremendous golf experience for all levels of golfers. Kids and beginning players can comfortably develop their games. In contrast, the more accomplished players can certainly be challenged by the course's length, bunkering, and subtle breaks on the greens.

Golf Activities
Members of Tucson Country Club participate in a variety of Golf activities. These include Women’s Golf for 9 or 18 holes. Men’s Golf, Junior Golf & PGA Junior League, Mixed Golf or Couples play and different tournaments and events for all.

Evans Scholars - Youth Caddie Program
Golf is a game of tradition, and caddies are deeply rooted in the history of the game. Tucson Country Club has been upholding this tradition since the club was established in 1947. Over 70 years later we are taking exciting steps forward by continuing our youth caddie program. The goal of the youth caddie program is to involve local Tucson kids in caddying with the hopes of becoming an Evans Scholar. The Evans Scholarship is a full housing and tuition scholarship awarded to golf caddies with outstanding character, strong caddie record, excellent academics and limited financial means. This year, 1045 Evans Scholars are enrolled in school for the 2020 – 2021 academic year.
