  • Dean Vomacka
    • Please Welcome Dean Vomacka, PGA, our new Head Golf Professional

It is our pleasure to introduce our new Head Golf Professional at Tucson Country Club. Dean Vomacka has spent most of his adult life in various roles in the golf business. He has played well throughout his career, missing Tour School Final Stage by one stroke in 1994. He qualified for the Nike ( Tour in 1997, and has qualified for 3 PGA Tour events. He was named the Southwest Section Player of the Year in 2008 & 2009, winning the Southwest Section PGA Championship, among other events each year.

Dean started his career in 1998 as an assistant professional in California. He moved to Arizona in 2002 and became the first assistant at Silverleaf in Scottsdale. He became a Class A PGA Professional, and was quickly promoted to be the Head Golf Professional at Silverleaf.

In 2006, he accepted the position of Head Golf Professional at the Stone Canyon Club in Oro Valley, Arizona, where he spent the next four years. After spending time working with family in North Carolina, Dean returned to Arizona and the golf business, working at Flagstaff Ranch through the Fall of 2017 and most recently at Paradise Valley Country Club.

We are very fortunate to have Dean join us at Tucson Country Club as our new Head Golf Professional. He has worked and learned under two individuals that I respect very much in our business; Miss Denise Martinez and Mr. Todd Huizinga. He is a terrific gentleman, wonderful player, very good instructor, outstanding merchandiser and very respected as a golf professional.
